The contact form

The contact form asks for your name, work email, company and a message. We use them to reply to you and for nothing else. Each submission reaches us as an email, delivered by Resend, and stays in our inbox for as long as the conversation needs it.

The readiness checklist

The checklist runs in your browser. Your answers are stored in your browser's local storage so a reload keeps them, and they are not sent to us unless you choose to email yourself the results. If you do, we receive your email address, your score, your tier and your 30 answers, and we send them back to you with the printable version. With analytics accepted, your score, tier and category totals are also recorded as analytics events.

Cookies and analytics

We use two analytics services, Google Analytics and PostHog, to learn which pages and tools get used. Until you choose on the banner, both run without cookies. They count page views and clicks and store nothing on your device.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies and PostHog stores an identifier in your browser, records clicks and scrolling, and makes a replay of your session. Anything you type is masked before it leaves your browser. Should you decline, the site stays in the cookie-free mode. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

Your browser can send a Global Privacy Control signal. We treat it as a decline unless you accept on the banner.

Google Analytics keeps its data for fourteen months and shares none of it with Google's advertising products. PostHog runs on servers in the United States. If you accepted analytics and then send us a lead, we connect that lead to your visit so we know what you read before writing. A lead sent after a decline is recorded with no link to your visit.

Hosting and logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, which records standard request logs, including IP addresses and request times, under its own retention policy. We keep no server logs of our own.

Deletion

Write to hello@silverbuttonwood.com and we will delete what we hold about you and confirm when it is done.
